Set in a not too distant future small town, a VR life simulation junkie goes on a mission in reality to get a new dopamine game cartridge before she goes through happiness withdrawal.

A major theme of Chimera is fleeting happiness and what humans are willing to do to chase it. Although the concept is science fiction, the film will be firmly grounded in a surreal version of our reality where happiness is given to us as a drug.
